Last Friday, a "cloud torrent" startled the inhabitants of New South Wales, Australia. In fact a "rack cloud," those on Bondi Beach saw what seemed, by all accounts, to be a monstrous, a few kilometer-long wave extending over the sky. The Australian Bureau of Meteorology issued notices to the encompassing ranges because of electrical storms, substantial downpours, and solid winds.
